Our Partnership with Microsoft Philanthropies

Actua is proud to partner with Microsoft Philanthropies in Canada. Microsoft has been at the heart of Actua’s STEM and digital skill-building programs for youth and educators since 2017.

With Microsoft Skills for Jobs program support, we’ve reached over 1 million youth and over 30,000 educators in over 500 communities nationwide.

Recognizing that today’s youth will power the innovation economy of tomorrow, Microsoft’s support of Actua’s program has a direct impact on the career-readiness, diversity and inclusiveness of the future workforce. Over the course of our partnership, Microsoft has invested in Actua’s National Indigenous Youth in STEM program, Teacher Training Program and our work equipping instructors with the skills needed to succeed in the fast-changing and competitive job market.
