Teach. Inspire. Grow
Actua’s post-secondary instructors are vital to our programs and can have a lasting, positive impact on the lives of youth.
Become a Network Member Instructor
Actua annually hires over 1,000 undergraduate students across Canada’s network member program instructors. Instructors coordinate and lead on-campus and in-community STEM programming for local youth. They also act as diverse role models, motivating and inspiring youth to pursue STEM by sharing their lived experiences.
It’s more than just a job.
Instructors engage in various training opportunities to help them deliver high-quality, impactful STEM programming, such as conflict resolution, Indigenous worldviews, effective communications and more. They also have access to personal skill and career-development programs through our Future Skills program, designed to build in-demand employability skills and competencies for future work.

Become an Outreach Instructor
Every year Actua hires 15-20 Outreach and Land Camp Instructors to lead and deliver spring and summer programming in communities not yet reached by our network.
